Who We Are
The Real Gutter Protector is a home improvement company offering clog-free gutters to homeowners. Our customer satisfaction is second to none. Our management wrote the book on in-home sales and our sales and management practices are a model for the industry, often covered in the industry trade press.

The Job
You will work the afternoons and Saturdays you choose and you will work with other students. Our supervisor/coach will pick you up on campus in the company van, drive you to a nicer neighborhood and stay with you while you and your teammates talk to homeowners. You will offer to arrange a free quote on making their gutters maintenance-free. No selling, just looking for homeowners who want a quote. When the daylight is gone, you will be driven back to campus and given a check on the spot for the hours you were in the neighborhood and in the van at the rate of $9 an hour.

The homeowner’s first contact with our company will be a well-groomed, articulate and polite college student working to pay college expenses – the kind of young person most people are happy to talk to. We get a chance to tell our story to a homeowner who already has positive feelings about our company.

For every homeowner who agrees to get a quote and then buys our system (most do), you get a $50 bonus. If you stay with the program and develop your interpersonal skills, your bonus income could exceed your hourly income. A: The neighborhoods we visit are probably like your own neighborhood—families who own their home and take pride in maintaining it. The company supervisor will be in the neighborhood with you and you will be teamed with another student. You will wear a security badge to identify you as having business in the neighborhood and you will not work after dark.
