I shopped the other clog-free gutter systems and found that The Real Gutter Protector was competitively priced. But what sold me was the design. The other systems - all with a single long opening-were clearly vulnerable to clogging by pine needles. And none of the other systems could guarantee I'd have no overshooting. All the people I've dealt with were courteous and competent from the phone receptionist to the installation crew. The product has worked just as they said it would, at it looks great. Because we live in a heavily forested subdivision, we constantly had problems with leaves and pine straw in the gutters. We can't keep them cleaned out, so whenever it rained we got water overflowing, getting stuck in the gutter and running down the back side of the gutter and creating water pooling close to the house. We had dry rot around the front door.

I looked at some other products. I know some other people who've had water come off the tops of them. I started looking at the Better Business Bureau web site and found that there were some complaints against those companies. I looked up the Real Gutter Protector and found that they had no complaints against them. That made up our mind.

I've had a couple of people at work who've mentioned that they have to do something about their gutters. I tell them I've been very pleased with what we have here.

The weather here is a big change from California. One thing I did notice and what brought me to this particular residence is the trees. But little did I know that the trees would be so overpowering with the leaves. My nephew comes and cleans out my gutters for me but I don't want him up there for safety reasons-none of us are chickens anymore.

I've been on my husband to do something about our gutters. They were always full of pine straw and leaking.
